2) General principles of data processing
Life Calendar is designed according to the principle of data minimization.
- No user account is required
- No advertising tracking is performed
- No data is sold or shared for marketing purposes
Most data generated while using the app is stored locally on the user's device.
3) User-generated content and local storage
3.1
When using the app, users may voluntarily add content such as:
- moments
- notes
- dates
- images
This data is stored locally on the user's device. The controller has no access to this data.
3.2
Local data can be fully deleted at any time by deleting the app from the device.
4) Analytics and product analytics (PostHog)
4.1 Scope of processing
The app uses PostHog for product analytics in order to understand app usage and improve functionality and stability.
The following data may be processed:
- anonymized or pseudonymized usage events
- interaction events within the app
- technical information related to app usage
- a randomly generated UUID used to distinguish users
- optional user-provided metadata such as date or year of birth, if provided by the user
No advertising profiles are created.
4.2 Purpose of processing
The data is processed exclusively for:
- product analytics
- performance monitoring
- feature improvement
- aggregated statistical analysis
Processing is not carried out for advertising purposes.
4.3 Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is:
- Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest)
Our legitimate interest lies in improving the app, ensuring technical stability, and making informed product decisions based on aggregated usage data.
4.4 Data sharing
PostHog acts as a data processor on our behalf. Data is not shared with other third parties and is not sold or used for marketing purposes.

5) In-app purchases
5.1
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed via RevenueCat Inc., 300 Euclid Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94118, USA.
RevenueCat processes:
- purchase receipts
- subscription status
- technical identifiers required for purchase validation
Payment data itself is processed exclusively by Apple and is not accessible to the controller.

6) Contacting us
When contacting us via email, personal data is collected. This includes:
- email address
- content of the message
The data is processed exclusively for the purpose of responding to the request.

The data will be deleted once the request has been fully processed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations.

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the respective purpose or as required by law.
Analytics data is retained in anonymized or pseudonymized form.
